The salon I go to doesn't accept tips for the stylists. It's already added into the price. I've never thought about tipping the shampoo girl. I was there today and noticed someone giving her a tip. Am I supposed to be tipping her and if so how much? Are you supposed to tip the shampoo girl?
I was taught to tip anyone who is doing a service for you..so I say absolutely tip the shampoo girl, at least a buck or two.Are you supposed to tip the shampoo girl?
for just a shampoo, a buck or two, maybe $3
at nice salons, you should ALWAYS tip the shampoo girl if they don't give her a 'cut' of the stylist's tips.
i would check with the establishment if shampoo girls are also allowed to recieve tips before you do that. u can ask when you make your appt over the phone to avoid an awkward face-to-face encounter.
Yes. A couple of bucks. PITA, isn't it? the shampoo girl, the manicurist, the brow threader...and on it goes. I would LOVE to give one of them a handful of cash %26amp; let THEM figure it out!
It's always been customary to tip a shampoo person. Some are working for tips and don't even receive a salary.
Depends on the salon, and you may want to just hand then a tip, if they refuse then no harm done. It varies from salons to bhow much you give.
At least a few bucks - in a nice salon, make it $5.
Shampoo girls don't get paid much so they sort of rely on tips. $2-$3 is sufficient.
Yes, she is preforming a service.
I think it would be nice
I give 2-3 dollars.
I mean I've never heard of doing that. You could give her a dollar?
