What is your favourite shampoo and conditioner for girls?

It depends on your hair type. Don't buy from the drug store, they aren't as good as professional. You will pay a little bit more, but it's better for your hair. The cheap brands (like TreSemme, Garnier, etc..)all use cheaper ingredients. They water it down more, and use harsher cleansing agents (Sodium Laureth/Laurel Sulfate). Stay away from Pantene. It's so so bad for your hair! They put all sorts of wax in there, which makes it feel soft for the first week, and then you can't wash it out and it makes your hair feel dead.


Go to Trade Secret, or Ulta and have someone suggest a brand for your hair type. I can give you what I like, though.


For Frizzy Hair: Paul Mitchell Super Skinny


For Dry Hair: Bumble and Bumble Cocoa or Frederic Fekkai


For Fine Hair: Redken Body Full


For Damaged/Overprocessed Hair: Brocato Cloud Nine (AMAZING!)


For Color Treated: Any shampoo that is SULFATE FREE, and then use a conditioner for your hair type. Pureology makes the best for color-treated. Alot of brands are doing sulfate free now, though so you should be able to find one if you have a hard time finding Pureology
