I use whatever is available. Mostly, I use whatever shampoo I, or my mother has collected from hotels or samples from the sites, a couple it with Garnier Fructis conditioner, that I got at Walgreens, free after rebate. However, I do use a Suave Professionals that I like well (shampoo and conditioner) and I like Dove, but it's expensive. (I'm using a bottle that I got awhile ago, on sale with double coupons for only $1; I have two bottles waiting after that.)
I guess I'm at an age/stage in my life where I don't care as much. I know what will usually look good (i.e., the Suave, the Dove and usually White Rain with the GF; I also have some GF shampoo/conditioner), and save those for when I do want to look good. However, I just use whatever is avaliable. If I don't like the way my hair looks, it goes into a ponytail.
I use Pantene Restoratives and it smells really good but anything from Pantene smells good!
Welllllll...my personal favorite is Pantene Pro-V formula. Ir's amazing to make your hair silky and thick. But if your looking for an absolutely to-die-for tropical smell I deffinitly reccomend Garnier Fructis. Truth is though, they're both quite expensive compared to suave and other brands.

I usually go with biosilk (love it) and the products that go along with it. Its good if you use heat to style your hair.
I also use the new sunsilk. Its cheaper and work well against frizz.
I like to use matrix biolage....i love the way it smells and its good for color treated hair..

They smell like what you want, plus great for the hair.
I also use TRESEMME which is amazing too, but it's not the tropical smell u want, but it's still yummy!!!
pantene ice shine smells o so delicious!!!.....lol, but it smells like a tropical drink or something. i don't use it because my hair needs deeper treatment cuz of dryness, but my mom bought it just to try it out and i can't stop smelling the stuff. just go to the store and open it and take a wiff. if u like it buy it. also aussie products smell really tropical and good too! Aussie's like known for their signature smell. some may say its too strong, but i like it.

I think there's way too much hype about constant showering. I shower when I'm dirty which may mean every day or may mean every 3-4 days. I think it's silly to shower if you aren't dirty just because society says you should.
i've never heard about that i just thought ladies didnt shampoo their hair everyday, so their hair color or dye wouldnt fade away as fast .... i shampoo my hair every day and its pretty thick and shiny, people compliment me a lot on it, but i hate not washing my hair everyday it just bothers me
it gets ure hair more oily..the more often u do wash it..i realized that after a litle while only..they start beeing or feeling dirty..but before it never use to be like that? i do it every two days ..and see the difference comparing to if i was doing it everyday..my opinion..

when its summer especially we have tendence to do it twice a day or maybe more..depending on if ure going swimming or smthing like that)
well, they say that shampooing takes out your scalp's natural oils but honestly, i shampoo evry single day bc otherwise it gets too greasy n ewwww. But i have a lot of hair n my hair is completely healthy and thick despite all of the coloring i did. Do watever works for your hair the most

What I would do is to wash it everyday, but skip washing it once a week and just use a conditioner or just rinse the dirt out and don't put any product in at all. It will restore your natural oils and give your hair extra shine! But every other day is a little gross!

I have been using Organic shampoo forever now and my hair is amazing!!! there are too many chemicals in regular shampoo and organic shampoo is the same cost. Just go to any health food store or even in regular stores they have organic now.
i think it depends in your hair cuz i use head and shoulders and my hair is really pretty. i used to use pantene but it didnt really work out for me. so it depends on every persons hair.

NO. Im my opinion, girls shampoos smells WAY nicer than mens and I love the way my hair smells like flowers and blah, blah, blah... I love using herbal essence too! My guy friends uses herbal essences and well I don't mind cause their hair smells good, their hair is shiny and whatever. So it's totally okay for you to go and use those shampoos.

As a girl who has used EVERYTHING, let me enlighten you. If you don't want to spend a lot of money, I would recommend using alternate products such as fructis, vive, and herbal essences (their new line is great!). These will keep your hair reasonably conditioned. Next, the frizz/shine part. It is spendy, but you can find it. Phyto Defrisant is one of the best no frizz products I have ever used. Expect to spend 16-20 on it, but it lasts a long time. Also, follow it up with a shine spray (the liquid is to heavy, and its hard to apply evenly) I would use tre semme shine spray, or frizz ease shine spray. As far as hair products, I normally use a curl enhancer cream from Biolage but I am sure there are others out there. I also use a heat protectant/shine enhancer from Redken in case I blow dry my hair or straighten it. Another tip, do not wash your hair everyday especially if it is dry you really need to only wash it like twice a week. In between washing you can just wet it or dab some conditioner in it.
I love the new Herbal Essence shampoos and conditioners. They have one made for curly hair.

NEVER use- black raspberry vanilla- it smells gross, and i feel soo bad saying this, because my 9 yr. old sister got it for me for christmas and she is soo proud bcuz she got it with her own money...o i feel soo bad!

I switch about every two months (or whenever I run out), because all shampoos and conditioners, while they clean, they also leave a residue, and after awhile it will start to weigh your hair down. So you switch to a different brand for awhile, which will clean off the old residue and leave your hair feeling light and soft, but then will start to leave its own residue.
i only use the same brand together (like i wouldn't use tresemme shampoo and herbel essences conditioner together). that's just too many smells for me. but i like to mix up the brands every now and then. i like to mix up the smell.

Purple shampoo...girls can u help!!!?
everytime i get my roots done either at the hairdressers or by myself for some reason the %12 that iv been told to use doesnt lift my hair properly(left on for about 30mins or so) i have had a toner put on after too but my hair still looks gingery and brassy!!! a few people have suggested useing a purple shampoo as it wil nuetralise the orangyness....can i buy some purple shampoo from a highstreet shop? how much does it cost? and will it be good for my hair in otherways too because i dont normally buy shampoos from highsteet shops as they normally just coat ur hair in crap i buy shampoos from the salon. if anyone knows a good one to use ect please let me know

i only know of one and that is available from ';avon cosmetics'; i used to use it, it is purple and specially formulated for dyed, and grey hair, to stop this discoloration hope this helps
What are you using thats 12%? Depending on the natural base of your hair, to go blonde you generally need a 20-40 volume developer. Anyway, the best purple shampoo is made by Rusk, its called Bright. It is a salon product but as you know, salon products are better for your hair. It will help neutralize some of the brassiness.

I have quite alot of red in my hair and i have it bleached white. After a while with pollution and other products my hair goes brassy. Best product you can get is Matrix which you can find at a hairdressers (go on line to find nearest one that stocks) also schwarzkopf do'; touch of silver '; which does the trick. good luck

Well, I was in the shower, just off in LaLa Land and Grabbed my shampoo, thinking it was body wash and started washing and I was washing my female area (not boobs... The OTHER area ) and then after I did that, I realized it was my shampoo ( Loreal Vive Nutri Gloss [the light pink one] ) and Yeah... It started stinging and hurting... And still does... And It's my time of the month ( This is the 4th day I've been bleeding, it started Wednesday, April 1st, if that helps any. ) and I was wondering if it's going to like... do any damage or anything... it just stings alot... Please help me and if you know how to make it stop feel free. Please no negative comments.

I wash my hair throughly, then I use lots of conditioner and let it set for about 2 minutes, rinse out the conditioner, wash my hair again and finally use a small amount of conditioner on the ends. I have very shiny, soft hair without split ends and my hair isn't greasy at all but the way I wash my hair uses a lot of shampoo and conditioner but I have really thick hair and I always use a lot more shampoo than other people, even when I only wash my hair once.
i scrub in my shampoo really well and let it set for like 2 min, and then i use LOTS of conditioner, and let it set for like 15 min, and it keeps my hair really soft....
